A true rarity brightened up the summer at HelloParks Páty logistics park: a young common kestrel sought shelter in one of our halls after a heavy storm. The exhausted little raptor perched on the railing of a lifting machine, but, lacking food, soon became very weak.
Fortunately, one of our bird-loving colleagues was on duty. He placed the kestrel safely in care before handing it over to the experts of the Duna–Ipoly National Park, who then transported it to the Budapest Zoo. There, the Hungarian Bird Rescue Foundation looked after it, enabling the kestrel to regain its strength quickly, and today it is once again flying free. As a token of our gratitude, we have, of course, supported the Hungarian Bird Rescue Foundation.
